Material Handler Picking / Roseville, CA

Cornerstone Staffing is assisting a client in Roseville Material Handling Clerk, temp to hire!! The material handler allocates and transfers material, equipment, kits, supplies and shortages that are required and conducive to maintaining an efficient material flow through manufacturing areas. This position requires someone with a very high attention to detail and accuracy. Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations. TEMP TO HIRE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Physically transfers materials, maintains bench stock, and handles completed assemblies/jobs between work areas or cost centers.

Locates materials and expedites part shortages within the plant that may be required for completion of assemblies.

Verifies and maintains stock documentation and shortage reports.

Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment including for lifts, skids, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and the like.

May use computer applications and computers to maintain accurate material flow transactions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong reading, writing and numerical/math skills

Computer knowledge

Two years of stockroom/warehouse/receiving experience

MUST PASS BKG AND THC URINALYSIS DRUG SCREEN including testing for THC.

HOURS

Monday – Thursday: 7am to 3:30pm

Friday: 6am to 2:30pm
